Well good morning ladies and gentlemen! So I couldn't think of anything to write in my blog this morning. I sat and stared at the wall today for a solid 20mns and nothing really came to mind.
At that point I turned the television on and every channel was covering the election that is to be finalized today. That's when it dawned on me, today could be one of the biggest days in history! We have never had a black president or a woman that high in office! Well this may not seem like such a big deal it really is!
Even if you are really not into politics like myself (which is ironic considering my girl is a political science major!) today should still carry some significance. Sure I watced some of the debates and followed along with some of the bigger stories on CNN but I really never did my research and dug deep to what the canidates real issues were.
But still I think that from what I know I could make a valid choice to as who I would want to see as president. At this point I almost don't even care who gets elected! I just want some change in the economy! People and businesses are suffering because no one is spending any money! Gas prices are finally down but who really knows how long that is going to last?!
Either way how you look at it today is an important day in the history of America. Whether we have a swimsuit model as our vice president or Obama who really has no experience as president something should change! And I really hope that its going to be for the better! A new president should hopefully stimulate our economy and everyone will start to be a lot happier and have more money in their pockets!! I know that I will be glued to the T.V. today to see what happens and who will be looking over our country! Hey maybe someday you'll see me in the Oval Office!! Until then take care kiddies and get out and rock the vote!!
